Extra-curricular Clubs

Student Council
The mission of the Student Council is to represent the student body to the Administration. The appointed representatives are challenged to be examples of responsibility (Prov. 24:12), accountability (Deut. 6:6), integrity (Luke 16:10), and self-control ( Ps. 119:133). Members learn to use their public relations abilities including compromise, courage, honesty, respect, and work.

Community Service
In order to foster the qualities of selflessness, generosity, compassion, and service, students at FRCS participate in some of the following community service activities: providing supplies for the homeless; making gifts for and visiting with nursing home residents; serving a luncheon for police, firemen, veterans, and nursing home employees. The students have also raked leaves for the elderly and raised funds for the American Heart Association. Many of these activities are led by our high school Community and Career class.

Drama Club
The purpose of our Drama club is to cultivate a love of theater in the hearts of students who love to perform. By their participation in meaningful theatrical activities, students are encouraged in their pursuit of truth, goodness and beauty.

Yearbook Club
The objective of the Yearbook Club is to produce a memorable yearbook for students, by students. Each student on the Yearbook staff will practice public relations as they sell ads for the yearbook, practice problem solving as they resolve production issues, as well as gain a working knowledge of photography and graphic arts design.

Titus 2 Girls Club
The goal of this club is to guide girls toward a life of virtue as exhorted by St. Paul in his second letter to Titus. Girls from 4th-6th grade participate in Club #2 and 7th-12th in Club #1.

Sports Programs
Recognizing the role that sports play in the development of positive character traits (including courage and integrity) and in fostering leadership skills and a sense of teamwork, FRCS participates in the Valley Middle School Conference and includes the following sports:

  • Archery
  • Girls Volleyball
  • Soccer (co-ed)
  • Boys and Girls Basketball
  • Tennis (co-ed)
  • Cross Country (co-ed)
  • Flag Football

These sports are offered to students in 5th-8th grades and at a Junior Varsity and Varsity level for high school students.

All student athletes need an annual sports physical and completed medical release form.
